A career spent building things.

Brands. Companies. Stories. Productions. Publications. The common thread is seeing what something could become, then bringing together the people and ideas to make it real.

I am a creative strategist, writer, and producer based in Tennessee. My work spans across the publishing and commercial film worlds to live events and the stage. I have spent my career as founder, co-founder, and collaborator in the technology, entertainment, hospitality, and wellness sectors.

After my early career as a professional ballet dancer, I harnessed that experience and shifted focus to production and entertainment marketing. I led public relations, sponsorships, and more than 100 live events for Rockit Ranch Productions in Chicago. Then, I went on to co-found talkTECH Communications in Los Angeles, a marketing and communications firm that served more than 150 organizations. From there, I joined tech startup AirPR (now Onclusive) in San Francisco. During my tenure, I shaped the brand, product vision, and growth strategy and was instrumental in building the world’s first attribution technology for public relations and content marketing. The company eventually sold, and after taking some time off to recalibrate, I began an independent consultancy and practice focused on helping brands shape and tell their stories in an authentic way. Additionally, I began writing and producing my own projects.

Through my independent practice, I have worked with founders, executives, and creative teams on everything from brand positioning and editorial platforms to commercial scripts and films. My projects include campaigns for Kubota North America, Pure Sweat Studios, pH-D Feminine Health, and the City of Springfield, Tennessee, as well as years of strategic content work for cybersecurity company NINJIO.

I have published countless articles and humorous essays for publications including Inc., Forbes, Entrepreneur, Weekly Humorist, Erma Bombeck blog, and Slackjaw. In 2022, I released Champagne for One: A Celebration of Solitude, a collection of humor, essays, and poetry; and I produced an accompanying short film that premiered at the Nashville Film Festival and won several awards including “Best Producer” at the Paris Short Film Festival, and “Best Short Film” at the Critics Choice International Film Festival.

In 2024, I began developing the editorial venture Palomino County Magazine with a small independent publisher, where I am now Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief. I continue to collaborate on production and live event projects that harness my creative and executive talents, while attempting to find time to publish my “Awakenings of a Countrypolitan” column on Substack.

I hold a master's degree in organizational management with a specialization in applied community psychology from Antioch University Los Angeles and a bachelor's degree in philosophy from Loyola University Chicago.
